Caregivers: a Documentary
We invite you to a complimentary documentary screening Caregivers: Their Passion, Their Pain a documentary film which takes us on a journey into a world the public has rarely seen. The film depicts the dramatic emotional costs experienced by professional caregivers who rescue, assist, and when possible heal the injured and traumatized. It is a film of hope and knowledge. We hear from caregiver providers such as nurses, firefighters, police officers, therapists, and teachers on a) how they are affected emotionally and physically and b) ways they have adopted to cope and recover from toxic stress in the workplace.
