The Band Perry: For The Band Perry, country music is a family affair. The group, fronted by big sister Kimberly and supported by younger brothers Reid and Neil, became country music's breakout act in 2010. The massive success of their single "If I Die Young", was followed by accolades and Platinum plaques. Now, The Band Perry has embarked on a national tour on the opening stage for country superstar Tim McGraw. Don't miss the Band Perry tour dates along the Emotional Traffic Tour this Summer, 2011. The Alabama trio began touring together when Kimberly was a solo-act with Reid and Neil, then 8 and 10, serving as her opening act. They put their forces together in 2005 and booked tour dates as The Band Perry on the New Faces of Country Tour in 2005. They were finally discovered in 2008 by Garth Brooks' manager and were signed to fledging Nashville start-up label Republic Nashville. The cultivation process was short and in 2009, The Band Perry released their debut single "Hip to My Heart" and due to the success quickly put a record together. They released a self-titled EP in April, 2009 to capitalize on a hit single while forging ahead in the studio and with tour dates.

By 2010, The Band Perry became formidable country stars when "If I Die Young" hit country radio. The single was a massive triumph becoming the act's first #1 single and receiving a double-Platinum certification. The single brought The Band Perry commercial success and they were lauded by the country music community. In 2011, the group was awarded the Top New Artist and Top New Duo awards at the Academy of Country Music ceremonies and they were nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Song.

The Band Perry scored another country hit in 2011 with "You Lie" off their self-titled debut album which has since been certified Gold. The Band Perry was last year's breakout success and they are currently riding the wave of their monumental debut. Demi Lovato: Lovato started in show business as a child and rose quickly. At fifteen, she was a bona fide TV star cultivating a promising singing career. In the late 2000s, while maintaining a rigorous TV and film shooting schedule, Lovato released two massively successful solo albums, Don’t Forget (2007) and Here We Go Again (2009); the former debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, the latter at #1.

Demi Lovato had a phenomenal start to 2013. Spurred by first-week sales of 215,000, “Heart Attack,” the first single off her fourth album Demi, debuted at #1 on the iTunes’ chart in over 25 countries (including the U.S.) and #12 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single achieved Platinum status in the U.S. and Canada within weeks of its release. “Heart Attack” became the most added song on Top 40 Radio in the U.S. the week it premiered, and just hit #6 at Top 40 Radio with over 67 million in audience. The song was produced by The Suspex and co-written by Lovato.

Demi, which was released in 2013, is Lovato’s most personal album to date, and is an affirming celebration of life. Lovato co-wrote nearly every song on Demi, along with a team of top producers and writers including TheSUSPEX (Mitch Allan & Jason Evigan), Priscilla Renea, Ryan Tedder, Emanuel “Eman” Kiriakou, Carl Falk, Rami Yacoub, Savan Kotecha, Ali Tamposi, The Monsters & Strangerz, Jonas Jeberg, Anne Preven and Matt Rad.

“Give Your Heart a Break,” Lovato’s second and final single off of her third studio album, Unbroken (2011), received critical acclaim from contemporary music critics, praising the production as well as Lovato’s vocals. “Give Your Heart a Break” spent 32 weeks on the Hot 100 in 2012 and reached #1 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart. The song also reached #1 status at both Mediabase and Broadcast Data Systems (BDS) in the Top 40 format. “Give Your Heart a Break” has sold over 1,800,000 digital copies, and was officially certified Platinum in the United States. The first single off Unbroken, “Skyscraper,” debuted at #1 on the iTunes chart, #2 on the Billboard Hot Digital Singles chart, and #10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has sold over 1,300,000 digital copies and was also officially certified Platinum in the United States.

Over the years, Lovato’s fans have only become more supportive. Lovatics, as they call themselves, won MTV’s “The Big & Best of 2012: Last Fans Standing” contest, topping Lady Gaga’s Little Monsters and Britney Spears’ Team Britney army. Lovato was an early adopter on social media, and has developed incredible support across her various networks, allowing her to engage and communicate directly with her fans across the globe.

With all of her professional accomplishments, Lovato remains devoted to giving back. In 2011, in order to raise awareness about personal issues similar to her own, Lovato became a Contributing Editor to Seventeen magazine. She used Seventeen as a platform to discuss her personal issues as a part of a larger campaign called “Love is Louder than the Pressure to Be Perfect,” directed towards teen girls. After revealing that she had been bullied at the age of 12, Lovato has also supported numerous anti-bullying organizations. In 2012, she was named the ambassador for Secret’s “Mean Stinks,” an anti-bullying campaign to inspire students to “gang up for good” against girl-to-girl bullying. She also serves as an official Ambassador for the youth empowerment event We Day and the organization Free the Children, which works domestically and internationally to empower young people to remove barriers that prevent them from being active local and global citizens. Lovato appeared on a celebrity edition of The Price Is Right, earning almost $50,000 for Free the Children. She launched the Demi Lovato Charity Boutique on eBay, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the organization to help children in developing communities around the world.
