The Great Books Book Synopsis
A note from Randy: Come hear synopses of two great books: 1. Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. (originally published, 1946). 2. Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari. Harper. 2015. -------------------- There are books that we all would like to have read, but have not yet made the time to read. Or, maybe, we read them in college, and “forgot’ so much about them. Also, there are books that are recent, and people talk about them, but we have not yet read them either. (And, these books don't quite fit the “business book” category that make up the selections of the First Friday Book Synopsis). Randy Mayeux will be presenting synopses of two such books at Park City Club in Dallas at noon, Friday, September 15, 2017. Each synopsis will be about 20 minutes, with a brief table discussion in between, and after, each synopsis. Lunch will be the wonderful Park City Club lunch buffet. Buffet will open at 11:45. First presentation at about 12:25. The second presentation will begin at about 12:55. We will conclude by 1:30. Come join us.
